  1. Yes, a sense of security.   I would hope to have someone to love me for me, before I get all the money.

  2. I wouldn't know, never had any d**n money.

  3. Happier but ultimately not happy.

  4. Yep..

  5. either, if i have it, it pays for what it has its purpose for, if i dont then there are loads of things you can do free and still be happy.

  6. Money only makes me happy when I have enough to not have to worry about it.  By enough I mean I pay my rent on a decent apartment in a decent part of town, eat filling, nutritious meals, can go to the doctor and dentist when I need to, can save for the future, and have a little left over for the small "extras" in life.

Passed that, more money does not lead to additional happiness to me.  It's my relationships that give me the most satisfaction.

  7. not really, other things like seeing a person i havent seen for ages is priceless and makes me much more happy then money.

  8. Yes...money buys freedom, health, better surroundings, and Hemi's...Hemi's make me smile.

  9. Yes, money does make me happy.  Its just that money gives you happyness.  Money is something you have to work for.

  10. No.........money is what we need to do day to day living. Happiness, whether you have a little money or a lot comes from within.

  11. Indirectly it does because I feel I have more control over my life. When I have enough money and maybe extra then I'm more relaxed and less stressed. The bills are paid and I have some extra so I can treat myself within reason without too much worry. It's the people in my life that make me happy along with my pets.

  12. Yes, yes, absolutely Yes!  Money answers all things!

  13. Money is the new survival game. There have been studies and it has shown that when interest rates increase, and the economy is in poor shape, the suicide rate jumps. There is definitely a correlation. People who are broke/bankrupt/whatever are more likely to be suicidal or depressed also.

  14. According to statistics, yes.  People with money tend to be happier, have better marriages and live longer, healthier lives.

However, if you are a miserable person, no amount of money will make you happy.

  15. As best sung by my daughter's preschool class-

"All I need is a song in my heart, food in my belly and love in my family..."

  16. no, it's a means to an end.

  17. Money makes things a lot easier, helps reduce stress, and can increase activities such as increased vacation opportunities and more ways to relax so yes, I think money does make you happy.

  18. Until and unless you discover that money is the root of all good, you ask for your own destruction. When money ceases to become the means by which men deal with one another, then men become the tools of other men. Blood, whips and guns--or dollars. Take your choice--there is no other.

Run for your life from any man who tells you that money is evil. That sentence is the leper's bell of an approaching looter. So long as men live together on earth and need means to deal with one another- their only substitute, if they abandon money, is the muzzle of a gun.

  19. Yes because without it you can't do anything. It definitely makes life alot easier when you can pay the bills and keep the wolf from the door. Without money it's a pretty miserable existence, but I can never understand how people say they have no money and yet seem to be able to afford smoke and drink..  It's far more important to me to put food on the table and clothes on my back.

  20. I have never had enough money at one given point in time to make me happy....But, Even if I did, I don't think it would make me happy.  The things that make me happy in life are, family, friends, and a sense of self worth.

  21. To some extent yes, because that gives you whatever you like. But there are other things which you can't get even with money.

  22. Yes.  I can if you let it.
