  1. Vicki - Give Priscilla best answer.

We prefer the Ardee Co. Louth accent ourselves. Have you ever heard an Ardee woman speak? It's only mighty so it is........

  2. Are you kidding.... dublin of course

  3. we belfast people rock....

  4. Dublin definitely

  5. Priscilla Duck is my hero!!

And i forgot to answer the question! Im from Dublin and the south side accent annooooys me ((Im a northsider)) yes i admit its very tidy and clean compared to some bleeden jaysus north side accents!! I like some Belfast accents some i like but do get annoying.

I come to a conclusion.. both have their ups and downs.

  6. Dublin.

  7. Ee gads. Neither. Head west.

  8. Dublin...belfast accents get on my nerves

  9. Both... Northern Irish accent sounds a bit like Scottish, Dublin accent is strange. There is the west Dublin accent which is horrid, the posh accent which is lovely but the most beautiful is the accent that coming from the Gaelic speaking families...

  10. Dublin accent gets my vote, the belfast accent sounds so harsh!, although I am slightly biased as my family are all from Dublin!!

  11. Dublin get my vote.

  12. I'm a good Dub from the northside although they  make me pay my bin charges to Fingal Co. Council.

There is no difference between a real Dublin accent from northside or southdide. Compare Joe Duffy ( ballyfermot) to Gerry Ryan ( clontarf)   to me they both have real Dublin accents which are very similar.

    Don't like Belfast accents.

  13. belfast ..........or rite wee lad?

  14. CORK.... LOL

  15. The South Dublin accent sounds pretentious and is more annoying than anything on earth. The Northsider Ahjaysushowyas are melodious compared to the SoCoDus (as that w@nker Barry Ego Egan from the Indo insists on labelling them - yeah Barry, you'll never be cool you cokehead).

The average Dub has a grand accent (posh Northsiders and normal Southsiders) but then again they're probably just culchies who missed the last No. 90 to Heuston Station one Friday evening and never managed to escape.

A soft Belfast accent is beautiful. A harsh one sounds like a pi$$ed off tractor chewing strips of galavanise off a rusty haybarn. But that's still better than the Dort-heads of Doblin, loike.

  16. Don't see what this has to do with the Ireland section as Belfast is in the UK so hence isn't an Irish accent. And in any case, it drives you mad when you listen to it.

Neutral Dub accent is okay - the D4 or knack accents are pretty hard on the ear too.

  17. I live in Belfast, so I'd say Belfast.

  18. Dublin - the north sider one though. No offence to anybody, but I'm not a big fan of the one in which people say "lyoke" as many times as humanly possible in one sentence.

Belfast accent is nice too, but I prefer a Dub accent.

  19. Belfast

  20. It has to be Belfast,

it reminds me of my grandparents.

  21. belfast

i hate the dubs accents sounds terrible

  22. Dublin. I can live with the alreeeeet! But the Belfast accent just gets on my nerves. I'ts just so like oh I don't know how to explain it! It suits some people. Theres some part of it that I like. I don't like the extreme accent, the really strong one!

  23. DUBLIN BY FAR!!!>.... Belfast is the wreck the head accent!!!!

  24. i live in dublin so i would say dublin

  25. Dublin is the best by far, Belfast people sound like they are shouting at you all the time.

  26. Belfast!! I love those accents!!

Some Dub accents are alright tho.....not the realli strong ones.....

  27. HI YOU

GIVE ME THE BELFAST ACCENT ANY DAY OF THE WEEK

  28. neither!!! mine is the best!!!lol!!! dublin is better than belfasts but not by much!
