European Union - Are they democratic ?

Re the recent referendum polls over the last few years and the "No" votes of France , Ireland and Netherlands . When does No mean No ?

How can they have the nerve to say well they can vote again?

Can we ask all the countries that vote "Yes " to vote again too to try and get a No --I dont think so ?

Do we need to send dictionaries to all the Bureaucrats in Brussels for them to fully get a grip with the definition of "No"

I think the whole thing a complete farce

The Institutions of the EU aren't democratic themselves - members of the Council and Commission are NOT elected by European citizens - only the European Parliament is - and this has the least power

- so how can we expect them to fully understand the concept of being democratic
