POLL - Have you ever had a "pet" plant? Did you name it?

Me, I have one! I planted it in my small bottle garden. It's a cactus. What should I name it? I planted it just today for our science class and decided to make it my "pet". Haha, I know, its silly to name a plant! But seriously I think naming a rock is more silly.

Many years ago I tried some marijuana farming and the area I planted soon became flooded due to a tropical storm.

I was unable to visit my plants for several weeks. When it was finally safe I found only 2 plants had survived. One was about 18 inches high and the other was only about 9 inches. I called them big girl and shorty and I used to talk to them saying 'Daddy loves you, grow tall!' and things like that.

When I harvested big girl was over 6 foot tall and shorty was about 3 foot tall. I kept the stalks from these plants for about 20 years.

I called my plant, Planty. I know, I know its not the most imaginative name but I loved my plant. My mum got it me when I moved into my first place. Don’t know the name of the plant but I use to take SERIOUS care of it. It was gorgeous.

Women give names to cars...so why not cactus. Su-tac would be unusual.

lol i have for science in year 8 i called it freddy lol i love that name :D
