I once caught body lice, which are larger and rarer than either head lice or crab lice. The way one catches them is by being in close proximity to a clothed person, so usually somewhere like a crowded bus or train. They lay their eggs in clothing and like the other lice, they make you itch. But the cure is simple: a bath in insecticide.
