There is rumours that Thorpey is doping, which is why he retires early. There is also news that he had fallen very ill but whichever I kinda like this chap. At least he has this image of being humble eventhough he is heaps rich.

Phelps is labeled the Human Dolphin. There was also rumours that he takes drugs. He is too huge to be likable... physically although his face alone can be very cute.

Haha I don't like either and I don't dislike either.

They're both awesome swimmers, but I would have to go with Michael Phelps. Not because he would have a better chance in winning even if Ian Thorpe is still here, because we never know what can happen, but just because I like Phelps' personality better.
