(Considering the fact that all along the past several weeks he has been adamant saying he would like to come out of retirement and play some more football)

  1. I wouldn't have less respect, I would just be upset for not being able to see him play again.

  2. As a fan of the game, I would have less respect for him if he took the money and stayed retired.  I dont think it should be about the money for Favre and im sure its not.  He has made more money so far than he could ever spend anyways. He should get reinstated and play some more whether it be for the Packers or the Vikings. Sorry other teams interested, I just dont see him going anywhere else.

  3. yea

  4. Yes. That would mean he's playing fore the money not fore footbull.

  5. He has taken the fairy tale ending and made it Grimm.

  6. I would have less respect for the NFL commissioner for allowing bribes. What about the people who just whant to watch him play wether it be for GB or knot>

Why on gods green earth should any player be payed anything more than there retirement to be retired.I can see why the other teams are whanting this put against GB's salary cap,This is rediculus,he's a player like every other player and if GB doesnt whant him release or trade,LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this is a sign of the future for the NFL they will be going to the level of other leages soon.Whats next if you drop dirty on a drug test and play for less you can still play,Hey its a business...........

  7. He said he just wants to play....he doesn't need the money. If he takes it then he just wants money. Considering he has already earned more money than most of us ever dream of I would lose ALL respect for him. If he plays then it is his heart that wants it if he takes this deal it's just his wallet wanting it.

  8. Well I will always have the same opinion abt him...even if he does or does not..

  9. Well here's the thing... he's under contract so his options are limited unless he goes to the jets or tampa... I do think that they would trade to MN if Favre shows up at training camp however he would have to take his chances and do just that...

    So here are his options....

show up in green bay or stay home and get $20 million plus the chance that they call on him to return in the event that Rodgers gets injured or something like that...

if he were to show up in green bay one of three things could happen and he has no way of knowing which one would... 1) he holds a clipboard all season 2) he gets traded to a team that he is compatable with 3) he gets to start in green bay...

I think he realizes that the packers are not going to let him go easily and that they will make it very difficult for him to play... look at the fact that the commisioner hasn't signed the papers for him yet to "allow" more time for them to come to agreement... I think his view very well could be that the only shot he has of playing football again would be if Rodgers is injured or if his contract expires and he wants to play again... would you take $20 million to stay home when you know that chances are if you don't you'll wind up holding a clipboard when you're a three time MVP?  I mean it's a free $20 million to do what he's ultimately being forced to do... do I loose respect if he takes it... no... I think that he'd have stuck it to the idiot packers (and yes I'm a die hard fan but am not thrilled with the current management for many reasons)

  10. no, not less respect, h**l I barely have any for him now. but I'm a vik's and an adrian peterson fan, so yea.

he should quit while he's ahead really. he is going to kick himself in the *** if he gets a serious injury. theres a cut-off point to playing in the NFL. those guys are killers and favre is a pretty good QB even as an old guy, but just go home and be health, don't get yourself killed to prove youre the guy that loves the game more than anyone else.

  11. no

  12. of course, it just shows it was all about the money and that he is just a giant primma donna who cries a lot and is a sell out

  13. i wiuld not loose any respect at all. What is he supposed to do at this point. This is all the Packers fault and not Favre's. The Packers are the bad guy's here not Favre. What else can he do. His 1st choice is to be w/ the Packers as a starter and for whatever stupid reason its not happening. Choice #2 play for the vikings again not happening. Choice #3 being a backup for GB yeah right. He does not want to go to camp and be a distraction.  The Packers are the bad guys here for painting him into a corner and not giving him any other option but to take the money. Goodell should look into this because it is wrong.  And its not like favre would be doing nothin he would have to do marketing for the pack and show up at games and events and stuff for several years. I would not loose any respect for him at all if thats what he ends up doing.

  14. I think Brat should take the 20 million, the tearful announcement of his  retirement was worthy of an Oscar nomination,he could have played the part of the Gipper better than Ronald Reagan
