Let's try this again since it didn't post the 1st time!

First...Congratulations on getting your first boat! Here's hoping you and the family enjoy every minute of every day on the water.

Two considerations before selecting the name. If you'll be using a VHF radio you'll want to say the name outloud and think of what it's going to sound like on the radio...and what the person calling you is going to have to say.

Next...if you're putting the name on the boat are you also going to have some sort of graphic accompanying it? Think of what you'd want to have for each of the names.

Now, if a choice had to be made here's a vote for "Seacup." You're out numbered 4-1 so go with one that has a feminine meaning, is easy to say on the radio and could have a really great graphic.

I am liking Knotty Buoys, but would change to: Nauti Buoys.

Wet Dream, Playing Hooky, and any reference to the expense of the boat is pretty played out.

I like both nauti and knotty buoys.

I like that because it has something to do with the family too.  Seacup is very cute too.  Mixed nuts is funny, but I don't know if I would name it that.  I like sea me knot too.  I like the word play, and how it implies getting away.  But I think my favourite would be knotty buoys.  4 buoys and a seagal is nice too, but may be a bit long.
