I've been to Toronto, but not NYC.  Never had any reason to go.

I dig Toronto, I'm considering moving there. It also has one of the lowest crime rates, if memory serves.  It's a pretty mellow place most of the time, especially once you leave downtown.

I haven't been to either, but I'm going to have to say NYC because its cooler. Even tho I live in Canada, I don't think Toronto is the nicest city.
