Of course, Russia is peacekeeper and russian peacekeepers are robbing georgian civilians peacefully and bombing Georgia peacefully, Killing so many civilians peacefully. Does anyone still believe that Russia is a peacekeeper? Medvedev signed the contract to cease fire and still they are bombing Georgia! Russia seriously damaged its reputation world-wide, and it will have serious problems in the future I guess

Obviously a peacekeeper. Too bad the mass media mostly highlights the western point of view towards this situation. An awful source of disinformation.

3)Saakashvili hoped the US will seriuosly back him up in his attempt to demonstrate the vague power of a 'newly baked' 51 state of the USA but the Americans wisely decided not to get physically involved in this conflict. Although even a verbal involvement is "sticking a nose into other country's business".

By the way in Tbilissi the Capital of Georgia there George Bush Street. Anyone in the US want want a street of Vladimir Putin? =)

The Georgian leader demostrates an awful example of a butt l****r. And Georgia is in the Caucases and there are unpronounced laws there in the mountains. Someting called "blood revenge", when Georgians see how their relatives die because of a terribly stupid decision of thei president they want only one thing - revenge. And revenge there is not the revenge of one person. It becomes the decision of a crowd.

That is why Saakashvilis family is already safe and sound in the US. While HIS PEOPLE THE GEORGIANS are dying for nothing.

WWII:     Germany invaded Poland.  We (Britain) had a pact with Poland and declared war on Germany.  Ossetia has a pact with Russia and gets invaded by Georgia.  I see no difference.

Neither - The Georgians initiated this conflict, the Russians defended the people of Ossetia.

It is the Georgians fault, but Russia kinda used a little to much force.

What annoys me most is that as per usual and i do apologise to the American's for branding them under their leader, but yet again America sticks it's nose into something that is none of their business. Russia didn't raise sanctions on America for invading Iraq / Afghanistan, why should Russia have to endure penalties for doing what it feels is the right decision.

Who does Bush think he is to force countries that are nothing to do with him to comply with his requests.
