  1. phili

  2. IMO- Skins,Steelers, and Bronco's. In that order.

  3. The Dallas Cowboys are my personal favoite.  The whole team is full of characters with personalities.  Unfortunately, the Patriots are a win every game kind of team, with a robotic mentality and have the records to prove it.

  4. DALLAS COWBOYS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. NFC- Dallas

    AFC- indy

  6.   NFC: Redskins, and Cowboys

      AFC: Broncos, and Steelers

  7. the cowboys are the best team in the nfc on paper. however, as shown last season, that doens't mean a thing.

in the afc, i'm going to say chargers, or patriots.

  8. DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. REDSKINS

  10. The Pats are probably the best, not that we can possibly know this answer before the season starts. They've become quite proficient at staying young, but there are some key players on that team that are getting up there if I'm not mistaken. The Colts have to overcome age and injuries and we'll see if the Boys can make it a round in the playoffs without choking again. The Jags are good, but I don't know that I feel comfortable with saying they're the best. The Chargers are also a very good team that might even surpass the Pats. We'll see what effect Merriman's injury has. I'm ready for some real football!!!

  11. Cowboys vs Chargers SuperBowl...

    you heard it here first!!

  12. Personally, the Rams. Realistically, the Patriots.

  13. It pains me to say this, but it's still probably the Patriots.  As of right now that is.  They've lost some key players but made the right adjustments.  And as long as you have Moss for Brady to throw to, look out!

But in a VERY close second are the San Diego Chargers!  Best rusher in the league, best tight end in the league, player with the most interceptions in the league, and a team that knocked out the Colts in their own stadium during the playoffs.  Not to mention giving the Patriots a run for their money in the AFC Championship game with 2nd string players.

Right now it's still the Patriots.  But that might change after October 12th when the Patriots travel to San Diego to face a Charger team with an ax to grind!  After that we'll know who is truly the best team in the NFL!

  14. I am a huge fan of the Packers, but:

    AFC: Patriots

    NFC: Cowboys

  15. this year either the CHARGERS or COWBOYS,both have solid ds and can pass or run very well.patriots will be exposed this year

  16. We all have our favorite teams and we are all biased towards our team.

For me, I'm a Cowboys fan and I pick them as the best team every year...I admit it!!!

But this year, I have reason to be excited and reason to believe that they are the best going into the year.

Last year's best team was the NY Giants...the Cowboys beat them twice in the regular season, but fell short in the playoffs.  From that Giants team, they have lost TWO KEY Defensive starters...one to retirement and one to injury.  Meanwhile the Cowboys remain healthy.

The biggest concern on the Cowboys is the 2nd or 3rd WR...news...Glenn was gone all of last year and they did extremely well with what they had, so I don't see this as a problem.

The next big concern is ST coverage.  This is actually a fairly strong concern as they continue to make ST's mistake after mistake...but at the end of the day, I believe the Offensive and Defensive units will more than make up for this weakness.

The next best choice has to be the Patriots...now I don't care for them, but I have to respect their track record and the fact that they once again have the weakest schedule in the league.  Thanks in large part to playing in a weak division.

Couple this with a nearly flawless system and skilled players, I would be foolish and biased not to list them as one of the best in the NFL going into the season.

Also on this list are the Colts and Chargers.

After that it's a wild guess...again good teams,  all of us as fans are picking our teams higher than they should be, but nevertheless...after the above 4 teams it's a c**p shoot.

At the end of the day,  my pick for the best team in the NFL as we enter week 1, is the Dallas Cowboys!!!

  17. Probably the Colts if Manning is healthy.

The Patriots or Saints if he is not.

  18. Patriots
