I usually get the gyoza if it's made in the restaurant(not frozen) and Ebi Shrimp with extra wasabi and maybe the tuna.  I'm not much of a seaweed fan so I'm limited.

well, I would suggest you get gyoza for an app, they are pan fried stuffed dumplings mmmm... but... if i had to choose those 2 I would say the Kani Salad

For the rolls:

Def a cali roll, the phily roll is still raw fish so if you are not into that def get the Tempora shrimp, they are all wonderfull though

You should get salad because usually the shumai has a lot of filling, but the salad is light and refreshing. For the roll, you should get teh shrimp tempura and the california roll. The Philidelphia and California roll taste almost the same...so you just want one of them.
