  1. Why on earth are there soooo many "how much is gas?" questions? Geez people. Get a grip. At least we're not paying $10 USD per gallon like they are over in Europe. If the prices are really disturbing you maybe you should be driving something that doesn't guzzle so much gas like the Toyota Yaris or Corolla, Smart, etc.

  2. san diego- $3.89

  3. I live in Texas and gas is $3.69

  4. I live in Northern California and I got my gas 7 to 10 cents cheaper than most stations but still paid $4.20

MetalQueen- the economy is much better in Europe and they have cars that get better gas mileage.

US car manufactures have the technology to provide us with cars that get over 60 to 100 miles to the gallon. Why are they not providing us with these cars?

I do drive a car that gets good MPG, but the cost of getting to work is taking food off my table.

And with the rise in cost of foods due to transportation costs? We are getting $crewed twice!

  5. I paid $3.77 last night. I watched someone pay $3.87 today. It sucks. I'm just glad that I can do about 30mpg. I just wish it was better. It's hard to survive on a ~$22k a year job as a 21 year old male when about $45 goes to gas every week.

  6. Just close your eyes, it's less painful that way.  LOL!

  7. Yes metalqueen, its not the same here as it is in EU.

While EU pays more (7 or so dollars per gallon, compared to 3.50)  EU has higher MPG cars, but the biggest factor is, the US is much much bigger, cars travel further distances, and especially tractor trailers...  EU also does not refine much of the gas they get, alot os refined in the US allowing for lower fuel costs.  Cities are dense. they dont have sprawling suburbs like the US does.

We will always have lower fuel prices than the EU, but we pay for it being forced to drive more miles and pay more for general comodities that are x-ported via truck.  In the end, if our fuel prices rise, so does the EU's so focusing on lowering energy costs shoudl be on everyones minds, not just the EU citizens:)

  8. I live in Ohio and paid 3.75 today the cheap stuff. lol
