    gud luk

i hope this has helped you in beating depression

  7. I agree with Vampire that you do have to will yourself to start thinking positively.  Keep busy and be social (and not just social networking over the internet, actual human contact is important).  Do something that will make you feel good about yourself, think of a way to help somebody else...

  8. find something to keep you busy

  9. Talking about it. If someone knows how you feel, they can help you. Also, exercise has been proved to help depression by stimulating the brain and body, so just going for a walk or a run will help you. Don't resort to antidepressants, because eventually you have to come off the drugs.

  10. Blow a load of cash in Dixons.

  11. Start by putting a 5000K or higher compact flourescent bulb in front of your computer.  Chances are you don't get out and get enough sunlight and this can lead to depression.  You may find that you cheer up from this alone after a while.  Also volunteer for something that involves a lot of social interaction like big brothers and sisters.  Kids are always a lot of fun You could also look at the personals in your local newspaper and find a date.  You would find a date stimulating and you may get a lifetime partner from it.  In the meantime why not try to reconnect with an old friend that still lives in town.  How about joining a church and geting involved in some of the groups there.  You could also invite someone out to dinner or to a concert or a museum or art exhibit.  You could rent an uplifting DVD and have some buttered popcorn.  Invite someone over to watch with you.  Stop being angry over things you've done wrong in the past and forgive people who have done you wrong and forget about them and move on with your life.  Don't drink alcohol, it is a depressant and may make a chemical imbalance in the brain even worse.  Start exercising by finding an aerobic program that you like.  You could jump rope, walk a few miles, get a minitrampoline, and also do calestenics.  I like the Navy Seal training calestenics.  You can find books and videos of them online.  Eat right and have a regular sleeping time.  If you do even some of these or all of these, then yuo will probably get over your depression, but if not you could be clinically depressed and need medication along with all of these.  Don't just stop at taking pills, you should also change your lifestyle to something healthy and uplifting.  Hope this helps.
