SS Badger, 410' coalburning steam-powered ferry that crosses Lake Michigan.  It is, I believe, the only regular ferry providing service across the Lake anymore.

Also the Cape May-Lewes ferry (Delaware), but it is a significantly smaller ship.

If by "sailed on" you mean walked on while it was docked, it would be the aircraft carrier Enterprise. If you mean while it was floating around under it's own power, it would be one of the Red & White Fleet ferry boats at San Francisco.
