  1. I usually read two at a time. The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon, and Jazz by Toni Morrison.


  2. ok the last book was, a working girl! now I'm reading, gigolo!

    its actually very interesting to see a glimpse in to why someone would do such a job! i realise that its not as great as reading shakespears sonnets but why read literature that will not challenge or open the mind! lol

  3. The Book Theif. May be one of the top 10 books I have ever read.  

  4. Hard to say, because as soon as I finish a book I start another one.

  5. Actual hold-in-my-hands-and-read book "The Truth" by Terry Pratchett.  Before that, "Florida Roadkill" by Tim Dorsey.  Currently, I am reading "Night Probe" by Clive Cussler.

    Mostly I listen to books on CD during my commute to work.

  6. non fiction: Henry VIII: King and Court

    fiction: Deception Point by Dan Brown (disappointing!!!)

  13. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd I read on Friday and The Pearl by John Steinbeck I read on Sunday and I am half way through Song of The Sound by Adam Armstrong today!

  22. I am currently reading "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand.  The last book I completely read before that was, disappointingly, Breaking Dawn.

  25. Not being dead, there is no last book I can said to have read.

    At the moment I am reading:

    "Leviathon" by John Birmingham;

    William Gibson's 7th novel;

    a book about Caesar's 10th Legion;

    a book about Xenophon's expedition to and return from Persia;  

    William Blake's "Jerusalem";

    and maybe another one.

    The last book I finished was, I think, a novel called "Slow Motion Riot" by an author whose name I do not recalll.
