  11. When I am both touched and happy, I cry.

If I am just happy, I laugh, but if something touches me, in a very deep or emotional way and its a happy experience, I cry. I hope this makes sense!

A perfect example--I have cried with happiness when my children were born. The youngest just turned 12, so this wasn't recent, but it is a good example. Another, is witnessing my children do or say something that makes me proud.

Most recently would be when my husband and I have had a very deep and emotional discussion about our relationship-- what we mean to each other, how important our relationship is to each of us, and how much we love and respect each other. I'm not talking about a few "I love yous", I'm talking about reaching down into your soul and expressing your gratitude for someone you love and why you feel that way.

When I experience these tears of joy, it has quite the same pleasant effect of when I laugh so hard I cry. Afterwards, I can't explain it, its just a total high.

If you were meaning this type of crying, caused by finding something so funny your entire body is laughing, I do this from time to time as well.

Most often it is when I am with my Mom. She and I can be very silly when we are together, even though I am 38 and she is 66. It actually happens alot, even when we are in public, but to she and I, we are the only ones around. Something will spark a funny comment and then we will run with it until we are literally having difficulty standing up, laughing so hard tears are streaming down our faces and its almost a struggle to breathe. I have experienced this with my husband (which was one of the reasons I married him. He was a nice guy, intelligent, responsible, etc... But what put him above the rest was when we were able to share this type of laughter, I had never experienced this with a man before) and my children and I also have this type of relationship.

Well, I hope I answered your question, LOL. I know I probably gave you more than you asked for! I like questions like these, its good to have someone get you going with such a pleasant thought early in the day. Thanks!

  31. Just this morning! I am unusually down and low for the last couple of weeks now and the way up our office seemed even more discouraging than ever. As I sat on my desk thought I could use some web-wandering start, I chanelled myself searching videos of the grand central station in youtube. It just came to me and there I was, awestruck by the frozen grand central vid uploaded by improv everywhere! I got hooked and find myself ff the related links. The tears?? Well, they just slid off during the "standing still" part of the slo-mo video this group made. Just when I thought I'm having the loneliest phase of my entire life, the unspeakable happiness I felt while watching those vids is simply beyond overwhelming. They give me the realization that there are people who make surreal and spectacular events appear during the most ordinary day in our lives and even on the busiest places on earth that undeniably inspire others which I thought can only be seen on movies. That genius work of art moved me,gave me a tap on my back and told me that life's beauty lies on how you look at it and that the wonder of every moment is just right infront of us, if only we would learn how to take notice of it :) Thru sharing it here I hope somehow this could touch your souls and brighten all of your days considerably, too, as it did mine.

    Ciao!
