Hi Philkill, we are always painting - we've just painted the whole house cos when we moved in it was wood chip heaven - it just had to go!  AND arteck ceilings!!  We want to paint our chill room and kitchen in the very near future.  One of the down sides of picking light, natural colours is that they need a top up coat every year or so but its worth it if you love your home as we do.

i am always painting my home walls are skimmed and i emulsion them about every 4 months as my kids cant keep there hands of them.sometimes i just do a touch up job but finish up doing the lot.

years ago, when I painted my room lilac, I loved that house, then the landlord sold it so had to move! Don't bother anymore, cause you have to seek permission!

We painted the bedroom last year and when my fiance is on vaction in September we will be painting the bathroom. I'm not sure when the rest of the apartment will get painted.

If it's interior painting that you mean, I'm in the process of painting the entire interior of my new house right now. If you mean exterior, one house was painted 3 years ago and the other needs a new coat of paint in a color I like.

Entire outside, siding, trim, shutters and doors 4 years ago.  Inside it is a never ending project.  I touch up the baseboards (housekeeper is vicious with the vacuum), wainscoting, doors and frames, molding and architectural features as needed which is like once a month or so.  I also move art around, wall hangings and sculpture so I constantly have holes to fill and paint (just last weekend). Usually, that causes me to have to paint the entire wall because I can "see" the patched paint.   I'm about to start painting the library again because I don't like my first color choice, will head into the office and paint there and finish off with putting up some more wainscoting in the laundry room and painting that.
