My car was serviced yesterday.

mine is currently in the garage and has been for about 5 wks. my husband some how or another managed to hit a parked car. if our car went through the insurance it would have been a total loss and we had no gab insurance to cover the outstanding finance. he has been warned that if he even thinks of getting behind the wheel of it again i will run him over! i am lost with out my car but meant to be having it back tonight or maybe in the morning

about 4 months ago it needed a new alternator.x.

Actually just two days ago. But not for obvious repairs, it just needed a "check-up" since we'll be going on a road trip next week. Guess what? Everything was fine!

4 Years ago. I get a manual and do it myself. If it requires special tools and/or I cannot get my big hands to the problem, then I will pay a mechanic.

I do most of my own repairs.  I did my tie rods just 2 saturdays ago.
