  1. I am for a more isolationist foreign policy....

but that just isn't theisable is it?

The fact of the matter is, we do not go to war to help suffering people unless there is some profit in it for us as a country.  We go to war to enforce global control, for natural resources, to shift the balance of power in our favor.

Terrorism is a direct result of the push of the American culture into other countries.  It isn't enough that we bomb them, we have to exploit their people for cheap labor, make empty promises of socio-economic development, and promise them a piece of the mythic American lifestyle of big-screen tvs and large house and all of the excess that goes with it.

We bring in McDonalds, Walmart, Blue Jeans, DVDS, and our Religions and Ethics and we expect them to not see us as a threat?

  2. AGAINST IT- this is a war that had to be fought, but the way Bush handles it is incredibly unproductive. He has a 27 percent approval rating (lowest in all of US history.) Bush attacked the WRONG COUNTRY!!! he was trying to finish what his dad started and didnt even do that.  He got us into a war that we cant get out of.

    PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST!!!

  3. War on terrorism: campaign issue or has it always been here?  So now each candidate must address the importance of how it will be dealt and work diligently on this main topic while in office.  No many countries are taking our side in the way we are handling this issue presently.  So why haven't we picked up a thing or two about how other countries have dealt with it for decades?  Are we too proud of taking direction as we lose the race for the top spot anyway?

And why isn't crime on our american streets considered terrorism?  I am terrorized if mugged, robbed, raped, victimized by some peddler, etc.  We haven't got a grip of our own country and our own criminals and now we stretch ourselves to other countries.  Where is the United Nations in all this?  I thought this was one of the reasons for its creation:  to unite all participating countries in resolving dilemmas.  Where's the resolutions?  War on terror?  Its here and has been here forever...we simply defined it as a crime "over there".

  4. I would be for a war on terror should one actually be happening.  Instead we're stuck fighting an Iraqi religious war that they should be fighting on their own.
