POP-UP VIRUS that randomly opens ADS when I use Internet Explorer, that always has a title of CiD???

-Recently Internet Explorer has been incredibley slow and when I open it, random ads keep coming up about every 2 minutes that always say CiD: *the title of the ad* --It is some kind of virus, will using another browser like Firefox fix this? I have Norton 360, but it can't find the virus when I do a scan and can't block it...? HELP!! thanks

First of all yes, download and use Mozilla Firefox, is very safe. Then try a couple of anti-spyware programs, Go to my blog digipapps and go to the antimalaware section, also download an antivirus scanner.

Norton never liked me. I switched to AVG.

And personally, i use firefox 3. It's amazing. Loads faster than IE, has better add-ons...Just generally better.
