I want to know how many Pow's there were in vietnam.

Wikipedia is a little short on this information.

American POWs during the Vietnam War:

771 Americans were captured and interned

113 died in captivity

658 were returned

142,255 Americans captured and interned during major wars in the 20th century. The Vietnam War accounts for only 0.5% of American POWs during the 20th century, but also accounts for the longest time an American POW has been imprisoned (Captain Floyd James Thompson, captured March 1964, released March 1973).

... i knew "dan " would know... but come on "dan" you left out all the vietnamese,[ north and south] pow's and the austailians,koreans, thais etc.... common , i know you have that info ...   .... you might even through in the french from the 50's...
