How can you buy pointe shoes (or anything else) on blochworld.com

Usually, how long do your pointe shoes last?

I wouldn't suggest buying pointe shoes online because you need to try them on to make sure you get the right kind. Pointe shoes last different amounts of time for everyone. For me they usually last a few monthes.

dont buy your pointe shoes online unless youve had that exact shoe and in the same size again previously but still pointe shoes vary and you should always be fitted.

pointe shoes last depending how much you wear them, mine last 3-6 months depending how much classwork im doing and what our current production is.

i have grishko fouettes with a v - vamp and extra hard box ( i have them specially made coz i have strong feet and a high arch.

pointe shoe glue is used to stick on leather ends to reduce wear on the ends of your pointe shoes

Don't buy pointe shoes online until you have found the style that fits your feet and your feet have stopped growing so you know your size. Go get fitted at a dance store. My first pair of pointe shoes lasted me about 3 months but i was dancing on them dead for about 3-4 weeks so only about 2 months. My pointe shoes now last me about 3 months then they die. It also depends on if your pointe shoe is strong enough. If it isn't, they won't last you that long. And don't always use blochworld.com to buy pointe shoes, you might need a different brand other than blochs like maybe grishko or russian pointe.

I don't know how to go about buying pointe shoes online because I usually order them over the phone or go to an actual dance store.

But as far as how long they last...it depends on the type of shoe and how much you use them. And how hard you are on them.

Some of the girls in my class have sansha's and capezios and they tend to only last for about 2-3 months wearing them for 5-6 hours per week.

Several of us also have gaynor minden's. Some of the girls have those last for about 5 or 6 months wearing them 3 days per week. For myself, I've been able to make mine last an entire year. It totally depends.
