PPL WITH BRACES PLEASE HELP!!!

Question

Hey in the back of my mouth at the end of my braces the wire doesnt stop where the bracket is and it cuts up the whole inside of my mouth. I've ben fixing this with wax but now I'm out of wax and I need something to stop it from cutting my mouth. WhAt should I do? HELP it hurts so bad!! I'd go to my orthadonist and get more but its like 2 hours away and I'm not going back til Oct. HELP!!!!

if you can't get to the ortho right away go to your corner store or something and buy those wax bottle candies. the wax the candies are made of should work great. plus you get a small amount of coloured liquid to drink. yay!

The wire may have slid over. Mine has done that many times, and if that's the case..I usually just use my fingernail to slide the wire back.

Or you can use gum instead of wax since your out.

Just chew a little piece and stick it back there.

But I am getting my braces off tomorrow.

you should have gotten wax from your orthodontist, so put wax over the wire thts stabbing you, and contact your orthodontist so that they can cut it shorter so it wont stab you any more.

You have to call your orthodontist and they will schedule you an earlier appointment to fix it.

you need to go to the orthadontist right away.

it wouldn't take long for them to cut the wire

i've had this happen before and you really need to hurry up and get it cutt off because those sores hurt extremely bad

Awww i had this same thing as well, it hurts like h**l! Phone your local dentist..and tell them whats wrong..then they will chop the end of the wire off for you (: ..before i made the appointment i got a piece of tissue and folded it loads of times..then put it over the wire at the back..it really helps! (:

I know I had that like a year ago, it is only because the brakets are tightening during the weeks you have it on that leaves the used wire to cut you up. You can only really bare it.

Actually go back this month and ask him to cut it but that will only last you another few weeks
