  1. This is a normal routine for a mom looking for a nice warm place to have her kittens! I would suggest cutting down a cardboard box and putting as many towels as possible in there that you may not want to use for a while. Carefully put her in the box to let her know it is there. I would put her in a spare bedroom  or bathroom where you can go in and out to watch her carefully. Sometimes cats wont eat due to being so uncomfortable. Make her as comfortable as possible, warm milk is the best for these situations. If she seems like something is wrong with the birthing or she is having complications which will be very noticeable take her to the vet asap! Take a deep breath and show her tlc!

  2. Yes she is about to give birth, My cat would hide away in the closet a few nights before she gave birth and she finally did in my moms pajama drawer. So she will give birth usually in a hidden spot and if you and your cat are close, be prepared she might have them onyour bed!

  3. She's about to have babies...set up a box with some towels/blankets in it (ones you don't care to throw away).  Find a dark quiet spot close to where she normally sleeps.  Start moving her there so that she knows that is a safe place for her.  She may naturally go to that spot, my most recent mama kitty did.  I have had a cat in the past who had them on my bed...yuck!

  4. A cat's gestation period is about 60 days, so she's very close to having her kittens.  Let her do what she does so that she'll feel secure and NOT hide away further.

  5. I would prepare a nice little box area for her and put some blankets in it and she might go in there to give birth, or she'll keep hiding. Good Luck with the kittens! I'd want her "den" to be in not public but plain sight so she has some security, but you can see if all the kittens are alive and are all being nurtured properly (sometimes mothers can reject their kittens :( )

Also: all that stuff about "if you touch a mom's kitten the mother will eat it"  that's VERY unlikely just don't keep the kitten away too long and make sure the mom sees you and it. :)

MAIL ME A CAT!! (kidding my mom would kill me about a 3rd cat...)

  6. she's about to give birth. set up a comfy place in a dark spot. My cat chose my closet.
