I think it reflects really poorly on McCain's judgment.  And if the internet rumors turn out to be true (see link), I think she's a goner from the ticket.

The media is already on a smear campaign against Palin as i predicted. Like anyone haven't seen a pregnant teen before, why don't people het a life. at least she is being responsible and having the baby.

Let's see pregnant teen daughter tried to get her ex brother in law fired and no real job skills other than pumping out children great pick for the GOP was he Drunk when he picked her or what.

If they are running on a campaign of family values then it can be seen as a hypocritical contradiction. On the other hand, the daughter is a teenager and was probably taught like a lot of other teens today that has Republican parents who like to tell their children to practice abstinence, that there's always more than one way to skin a rabbit or have s*x such as oral or anal and somehow did it the right way and got pregnant. Over all, I think McCain and his advisors will think of a way to minimize the damage and just go on as if nothing really happened...

it looks like a terrible campaign for the republicans      he is not the best judge of the way to run one      terrible choices and it looks like desperation on all sides....would make a poor preident    and i wonder what the republicans are really up to......its obvious they dont expect to WIN the election...maybe they they dont plan to....maybe they plan a little surprise for the world....i wouldn trust the ones in power to give it up too easily...and they didnt even try to HAVE a convention....WATCH OUT!!!!!!!

Not a bit. There will continue to be wise cracks on this forum but it doesn't change anyone's vote. It just stirs up hatred between the supporers. So much for a different kind of campaign.
