PRK or Lasik surgery 14 days before Basic training? Do it or don't .

I am scheduled to have Prk or Lasik on Aug 18, 2008 and I leave For basic training for the military on the 1st of September. I'm wondering if I can recover enough to deal with it through BCT and AIT.

NO!

If you have any problem what so ever during basic training--you'll be held back--to "recover". But in this case, it can't be undone, and they will just discharge you--home, that is.
