PROACiTVE USERS W/ SEVERE ACNE!!!?

How long did it take to give you good results?Like reallly good results.

&& mainly want answers from girls who used makeup while using it.How long did it take to be bump free?answers pleaseeee.

Different acne treatments work differently for different people ;-) but I have compiled some info on Proactiv for you, based on reported experience:

Proactiv Negatives

===================

- irritating

- dry out skin

- expensive to keep having it sent to you month after month

- clear face up, but as soon as you stop using it the acne might come back

- it bleaches the cloth...

- doesn't seem to work as well on blackheads

- skin became darker

- temporarily red in areas

- slight burning sensation when applying toner/repairing lotion

Proactiv Positives

===================

- really does work

- clears your face up pretty quickly

- leaves your face feeling soft

- reduce the appearance of pores

Alright, I know 4 people that used it, and it didn't work out for ANY of them.

But use these simple directions:

1) Drink LOTS of water.

2) Put rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad and put it over your face night and day, without anything else such as moisturizers (though it DOES dry your skin - once the acne clears, use the moisturizer)

For me, it works. I had a terribly red face like never before this summer, and after 3 days of putting the rubbing alcohol on, it was hardly visible.

Also, I heard of this prescription cream: Retin-A and that it works as well, within a couple of weeks. Try that!
