2 STROKE McCULLOGH PETROL STRIMMER. VERY DIFFICULT TO START. WHEN STARTED IT RUNS UNDERPOWERED AND CUTS OUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES . THEN IT WILL NOT RE-START. CHOKE IS TURNED OFF AFTER STARTING. COULD IT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPARK PLUG ?

  1. you could start with the spark plug but it sounds more like a air fuel mixture or idle issue. How old is it? Have you checked the filter? has it ever been used without oil in the gas?
