PROBLEM WITH MY IPOD NANO !?

Question

I turned my ipod nano off and then put it on hold ... Later on in the day i wanted to listen to it ! and it would'nt turn on ! So I connected it to the computer and i turned it off hold but the hold icon was still appearing on my ipod so i disconnected it and now its just turned off and wont come back on !! its fully charged and iv had it for about 2 - 3 years !

Step 1: Calm down.

Now,

I know it's not on, but this happened to my iPod a few days ago and my Dad fixed it by doing this:

Put it on hold, then off hold again. Then press and hold the Menu and the centre button and wait for about 6 seconds. An Apple sign should come up on your screen and it will be good again.
