ah yes, this question, yet again....

well, i have been accepted to the thing in Philadelphia for $800, my mom is willing to pay because it seems like a once in a lifetime (sort of) chance....one place with tons of agencies all in one. i have background in the industry, but this seems like a shortcut. anyone have a success story from a proscout conference? any tragic things?

i would love to know more about this, at the first open call, they insisted they were legit and here to help...it sounded pretty true. thanks.

also i need to get a monologue, any suggestions that stick out to you?

  1. I am also auditioning for Proscout in the near future, and I have been wondering the same questions. I read this forum: http://www.mntalent.com/DiscView.asp?mid...

I personally think Proscout is worth it. You are going to get a once in a lifetime chance to audition in front of many casting directors, but you may or may not land the gig.

    Monologues: http://www.actorpoint.com/free_monologue...

I think they have to be performed in 30 seconds or less. Good luck!
