PS2 HD wire question?

Ok i have a PS2 TV wire which is HD , when i play my PS2 using that wire, can i actually play HD? because this HD isnt like widescreen its like widen up on my widescreen TV.

  1. I dont see why not. I mean, your TV is the graphics engine, so, yeah.  


  2. The first answerer is really wrong. Wow!

    Well, actually PS2 isn't HD console - it doesn't support HD of any kind, you can hook it up in a traditional way only. PS2 games on PS3 are getting upscaled to HD quality, but it doesn't improve graphics much.

  3. The most your ps2 can put out is 480 with component cables and it does not make much of a difference.
