PS2 Steering wheel controller set up

Question

I have just bought a Trust Compact Steering Wheel and pedals GM3200 for our PS2 but I can't get it to work properly.Works for about 10 seconds and then everything locks up the game still running but nothing on the steering wheel working happens everytime. Not sure if it is a faulty steering wheel of the fact that I have not set it up properly onm the PS2.When you go into 'Options' screen on PS2, it shows the normal game pad plus 'steering settings' plus 2 other steering wheel icons. For the above wheel which of the icons should I use to set up the wheel for it to work properly?Many thanksTJ Clarke
