PS2 on PS3 Question about Playstation?

I have a 40gb PS3 is sucked to learn that they dont play PS2 games.

Is there anyway in h**l of downloading anything to help this or whatnot at all or am I SOL on this until getting a 20 or 60 g?

  1. There is no downloading. If the PS3 has no hardware for playing PS2 games, it can't play it.


  2. Older PS3 versions have some PS2 hardware (some more, some less). It's vital for playing PS2 games. 40GB doesn't have any of it at all, no PS2 games support. Every single PS2 game will require it's own, individual emulator, it's too much work for Sony, the company shifts it's attention from PS2 to PS3 anyway. Sorry...
