So i want to connect my PS3 to the internet so when Socom 4 comes out and when i geet COD4, right? Okay, so i had this huge internet cord, that ran all the way through the basement, and it actually connected so i was looged in on my os3. But then i read that you can connect it wirelessly through some bluetooth technology. So i have a modem, with an ethernet cord, and just my ps3 acroos the basement. What would i need in order to connect it through the wireless signal?

  1. It's called wi-fi (bluetooth is wireless too, but for different purposes). In order to establish wi-fi connection you must have wi-fi router. your modem must be connected with the router. The routr will split the signal between different devices. Get a router with VPN support.

  2. You have to buy a wireless router and connect it to your modem, then you can play your PS3 using the wireless. Routers can be cheap or very expensive, just how much money you put into one is the quality you will get out of it.

Also try scaning for wireless signals with your PS3 because your neighbors might have wireless internet and if they don't have a password then you can use theirs.
