PS3 HEADSET PROBLEMS?

I bought a PS3 headset last night and charged it for around two hours and when I played GTA IV online it I don't know just cuts out or static then goes sort of normal for a few seconds what’s happening is it faulty! HELP

    Or it's just faulty, you did buy the warranty right?

    In my personal opinion, Xbox Live is better than PS Online, MUCH better, better games, better community, and more fun...

    The only thing the PS3 has is Blu-Ray
