PS3 Problem, How Serious Is This?

It sounds the same as this and i think its the same problem th other dudes having on the video!

Well i had this sound coming from the ps3 (sounded like the fan was broke) but the next day it stopped. So i contacted sony by email and i told them the situation i was in and they said just contact then by phone but if theres nothing to say because the sounds stopped now. What shall i do? What shall i say on the phone? Is the PS3 okay but if the sound comes back ring up immediately? Im still under warranty but this is my replacement i got only a week ago and i've only used it for about 3 hours max!

That sound means a bad fan. Contact Sony and get it replaced immidiately. If the fan stops working and your system is still on, this can cause overheat. Not good, sorry to bring bad news...

Call Sony.

Your fan might be broke..or it could just be a wire stuck in the fan.
