????? PS3 and Vizio HD ?????

Hello. I just recently got a Vizio 26 inch LCD HDTV and it was advertised as a hdtv that supports up to 720p and 1080i. But when I plug in my PS3 and my HDMI cable, my PS3 says that the maximum resolution is 1080p FHD! So is it actually Full HD for my PS3?

well first of all that tv is only 26 inches which means if it really is 1080P it would have cost you a fortune. just because you set it to 1080P it really isn't outputting that. i know on the 360 when you set it to 1080p on a 720/1080i TV the image is duplicated twice and you see the same image on your screen on two sides.

but... lets say this is your tv

this is the width of your tv there will be a horizantal line                 right down the middle and the same image on both sides
