PS3 memory card question?

what types of memory cards do the PS3 take.I DL a ps1 game from the playstation store online (Hotshots Golf 1) and it wont let me save data to the HD

You can create an internal memory card on your PS3 that acts as either a PS1 or PS2 memory card and will allow you to save PS1/2 game files onto the PS3 hard drive. Under Memory Card Utility in the Game tab, just choose "Create New Internal Memory Card", then choose the one with "(PS)" next to it and you should be all set.  The system does, however, make it just like the original PS1 Memory Card, as in it only have 15 blocks, so if you exceed that you will need to make a new internal memory card.  Hope that helps!

You need to create a PS1 memory card on the hard drive by going into that menu on the Game tier. after you create the ps1 memory card you should have a problem.
