  1. Ps3 has blu ray and other great features but really lacks in games

Where as 360 has many great games going for it.

So id suggest 360, espically with fable 2 around the corner

  2. there's only a few good games for ps3

    xbox 360's break a lot

    make your decision.

  3. Xbox 360, for sure

cheaper, better online play, and better games overall

only good thing about PS3 is the blueray

  4. Both systems are good in their own way.

  5. Depends on a ton of things. Pricewise, the 360 is cheaper. If you like playing online multiplayer then I would suggest  the 360 for Xbox Live since the service is the best of the 3 next-gen consoles. They both have online multiplayer though, and the PS3's is free (as opposed to $50 a year for Live, which really isn't that bad unless you don't have a job).

Games are pretty similar for both systems, except for some major exclusives on both (like Halo 3 and Gears of War on the 360 and Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance on the PS3). More and more it seems like exclusives are disappearing (what, with the 360 getting the new Final Fantasy and Resident Evil along with the PS3).

The PS3 can play Blu-ray movies and comes with a lot of technical features that I don't use or care about, but they are there for those that do. It also has an internet browser, which I do use for streaming video, while the 360 doesn't.

So, it all depends on what you want the console for, and what games you really care about. They both have some pretty big libraries. The 360 can play most regular Xbox games, and as far as I know the PS3 can play all PSOne and PS2 games.

  6. hi

ive got a ps3 so ill prob be a bit biased but ill try not to be. the ps3 might not have the games at the minute but wait a half a year to a year and it will do. it has free online capabilities including home which will be out soon and the online might not be as good as xbox but at least its free. there is also wifi built in the ps3. the only downside is the price and the games out right now. if you want to play games now there is still a great collection of games but not enough yet. the price has been coming down but it still isnt cheap.

    ps3 also has blue ray.

+ps3 got mgs4 and resistance 1and 2 when its out.

xbox/ ive played on them at friends houses and they are good with good games and decent graphics. i found the menu confusing but the online is fantastic. cant really say more as thats all i know,

    hope it helps

  7. go to the store look at the xbox controller and the ps3 controller witch one you prefer to play with. i like ps3 better xbox charges monthly fee to go online on it  .

  8. in online play the ps3 runs a lot smoother and faster, for example, call of duty 4 which is way better than halo, many of my friends who got 360's for that reason regret it now, because on the 360 call of duty runs slower, which made it difficult for me to play on both systems, also you have to pay for internet access on the 360 where as on the ps3 its free and i know that another $15 a month or whatever it is isn't worth it at all

  9. I would go with the system that has the most games you want and then see what your friends have, get the same one as them if you will be playing online a lot.  Keep in mind that Xbox Lie is not free like the PlayStation Network is.  Personally I chose the 360 and think its great.  I got it when it first came out and it has never given me any errors at all or broken ever.  Hope this helps and happy gaming!

  10. PS3

  11. If you like to play japanese style games, PS3 is better.

If you like to play online and American style games, XBox 360 is better.

I had XBox 360and sold it because I want to play japanese games and i never play online at all.

In fact, ps3 has free online and Xbox 360 charge you for that.

Remember the ring of death for xbox 360.

If you choose to buy ps3, buy Metal gear solid 4 bandle, so you can play some of the ps2 games and all of ps1 games.

  12. terrible question to ask on here, ps3 fanboys and 360 fanboys are going to flood this... in the end the ps3 wins with hardware, as for online experience and interface, its terrible, its full of a bunch of retarded kids(and adults) who have horrible mics, along with more **** talking than you will hear on 360. the game selection is pretty boring, call of duty 4 being the obvious choice of the most played game. it has the blu-ray player as well, but really, unless you have a huge HDTV and you're planning to drop some bills on blu-ray movies instead of games, go for it.  as for the 360, its simple, it might not be as high-tech, but it does the job. xbox-live is a great online service that is going to get a complete make-over soon, and it seems to be better than what it is now. the red ring of death has never happened to me once, and i doubt it will. new 360s also come with a bigger hard drive and are cheaper. the only downside of it is obviously the paying issue, but everyone has a microphone, and isn't as immature and annoying as ps3 players. the online community is extremely active as well on the 360. $60 bucks for the whole year is nothing to me, and its worth it.

i'm referring to fanboys such as JavierM, with his source being some horribly put together unofficial video based on some little kids opinion.

again, the 360 red ring of death issue is coming to a stop. anytime you hear about it nowadays, its usually from someone with a first release model.

really, in the end, you need to research on what games you'd like to play, available games for each system, and so on to see what fits your gaming preference.

  13. If you like RPGs, go with the PS3. If you like FPSs, go with the 360.
