Hey everyone,

I'm just wondering what the difference is between PS3 Display setting "RGB Full Range (HDMI) settings are and The Cross Color Reduction Filter

Whats the difference between Limited and Full? Should i have my setting on Full if my PS3 is connected to a HDMI output on my tv at 1080p output?

What does the Cross Color Reduction Filter do? should i have this set to ON?

please help, answers would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Have it on full, it makes the lighting in games look slightly better. As for Cross Color Reduction Filter, im not sure exactly what it does, but it also slightly improves the look of contrast/lighting in games. Both of these options are only for when u have your ps3 hooked up with an HDMI cable, fyi.
