PS3 wireless controller problems?

Question

I have the original ps3 controller brand and the light on top of the controler does not come on when wireless and does not work but when I PLUG THE USB TO IT it works but the light does not come on. Im guessing its not working wirelessy but works with the usb. How do could I fix that to get it to work wirelessly

go ask gamestop. or the wireless communication is defective, so if they say thats the case, ul have to buy a new one

If you have it for a long time - this could be a battery.

have u got your warranty still? if u do take it back to from where u bought it
