PSAT/SAT: Kill two birds with one stone?

Question

Can I use SAT prep for both the SAT and the PSAT? Is there something about the PSAT that requires separate PSAT prep?

I also heard that the SAT is harder than the PSAT. So wouldn't studying for the SAT naturally prepare anyone for the PSAT?

I think that you will do fine if you get a SAT guide. The SAT is harder and really the only difference between the two tests is that the SAT has an essay. Also, the scoring systems differ a little, but the content is the same.
