Momo Sissoko has admitted that it would now be extremely difficult for Paris Saint-Germain to win the Championelle after they lost to Lille at the Stade Metropole
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 and Nolan Roux scored a goal each as LOSC Lille managed to come from one-goal down to beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in a Ligue 1 encounter that has ended the capital club’s hope of ending their 18-year Ligue 1 drought.
PSG now chase Montpellier Herault by 5 points and with just 4 games to go, it seems unlikely that Rene Girard’s side will drop points.
And, PSG captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mali-c2951 international was very sad and downcast while giving an interview to Paris.
The midfielder admits that it would indeed take a big miracle for PSG to win the Ligue 1 title.
“It would take a very very big miracle now for us to win the title,” said the former Juventus man.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Salvatore-Sirigu-c32282 was equally disappointed to see his side’s Championelle hopes fade away in Lille last night.
“It’s a big disappointment. I have nothing to hide. I’m really disappointed. If Montpellier do not win the Championnat now, I don’t know what they will do.” The Italian goalkeeper is certainly disappointed to see his side concede a game that they had in
their hands.
Carlo Ancelotti made such a great start to his Ligue 1 career with the Parisians but all seems to have fallen apart for the Italian tactician. However, the former AC Milan manager is still being optimistic about his side’s chances and says that all the players
have to do really well and hope for the best.
Ancelotti also says that the team needs to be careful not to slip into 3rd place.
“We must beleive that anything is possible. Obviously we’re disappointed. We must move forward, because the Championnat is not finished. You have to be careful because we have to get automatic qualification for the Champions League.”
PSG are certainly going to be the force of the future but now, it is Montpellier’s time to shine and Lille should be given some credit for that.
