With just nine games left, Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier Herault are ready for one of the most exciting finales to a Ligue 1 season
the current Ligue 1 campaign was not something many people expected it to be. As things stand, Montpellier Herault lead the standings and are level on points with Paris Saint-Germain. If you listen to Louis Nicollin, the president says that it would be silly
to talk about the title.
Today, MHSC has all the cards and if they play them right, they might win their first Ligue 1 trophy. The Montpellier president knows that despite being in a good position, anything can happen in the last few weeks of the Championnat. Almost guaranteed to
play in the Champions League next season, Montpellier should concentrate on winning the Ligue 1 despite PSG still being considered favourites.
Rene Girard, coach of La Paillade, is pleased to see his side fight for the top four positions and has invented imaginary enemies to keep the pressure to deliver on his team.

With a budget five times lower than the rich boys from Paris, Montpellier have already performed an impressive feat by giving the Ile giants a run for their money.
PSG meanwhile, have no room for error. The Parisians cannot and should not hide their ambition to win the title especially after spending so much money to built a team designed to conquer France.
