A.C Milan Vice-President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez.
Milan are looking to sign Tevez as a replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302, who has undergone a heart surgery recently and is set to miss out for the remainder of the season. Galliani confirmed a few days back that the Rossoneri have
agreed personal terms with the Argentine international and they have sent their proposal to Milan. The Italian Champions want to sign the former Manchester United striker on a free loan with an option to buy in the summer. However, City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323,
has confirmed that they are only looking to sell the player.
The Milan chief has confirmed that PSG have also entered the race to sign Tevez but it will not change their stance. The 67-year-old admitted that he will continue with his efforts to sign the striker and will try till the end.
The Lega chief insisted that he wants to sign the striker before the January transfer window but he can wait if the deal does not go through before that.
Galliani said, “I can confirm that Paris SG have inserted themselves into this. Nevertheless, our offer won’t change for him as a result and we’ll try until the very end to get Tevez here. Our objective is to sign him and have
him train with us in Dubai during the winter break. We’re waiting for a response to our offer, but there is time until the January transfer window closes.”
The Rossoneri are also linked with a move for Catania striker, Maxi Lopez, but Galliani confirmed that Tevez will be their first priority.
“Catania’s Maxi Lopez? He is of interest to us, but I can confirm that Tevez is our first choice and we’ll keep trying for him,” Galliani concluded.
Asked on if he has talked to PSG Sporting Director, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056, Galliani added that he has not spoken to him as he belongs to a different club and they can do whatever they want to. Milan might lose rookie star, Stephan El-Shaarawy,
if Tevez joins them.
