In a bid to increase their attacking potency, Paris Saint-Germain are looking to lure Cameron international Samuel Eto’o from Russian side Anzhi

Reports in Italian media claim that Cameron international, Samuel Eto’o is keen on ending his love affair with Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala where he is earning around 20 million Euros per year.
Reports claim that being on a lucrative contract is not good enough for the former Barcelona player whose heart aches for a return to Inter Milan with whom he won the UEFA Champions League a few years back.
However, it seems that Paris Saint-Germain could lure the unhappy striker to Parc des Princes.
For several months, Leonardo and co have been on the lookout for a new striker who is capable enough to give a new dimension to the team’s strike force.
After failing to lure the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez, PSG are now looking to try their luck on Samuel Eto’o.

In his last seven games for the Dagestan-based club, Eto’o has failed to find the net and has not really been an awe-inspiring presence either.
As things stand, Anzhi might not be playing in Europe next season – a thought that troubles Eto’o who has rarely missed out on European football in his long and illustrious career in the Old Continent.
Samuel Eto’o has found Russia to be a tough place to play football and the African has failed to settle down in extreme conditions. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 star criticised the state of the field a few days back.
“I was warned that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 is cold, but the main enemy is the field. It is sad that in such a beautiful championship, it is not possible to play at full strength.”
Though Paris Saint-Germain are keen on stealing the striker away from Anzhi, it might not be a stroke of genius on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056’s part as Eto’o has shown in recent games that he might be past his best days.
