While talking to the media, Paris Saint-Germain duo, Nene and Guillaume Hoarau expressed their delight at being able to give a strong offensive performance in a 4-1 win over Ajaccio
Accustomed to the recurring splendour of Nene, Paris Saint-Germain gave an entirely different performance in a 4-1 thrashing of Ajaccio in their recent Ligue 1 encounter. The win means that PSG have returned to the Ligue 1 summit and lead Montpellier Herault
by a single point.
It was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345 scored a goal each as Ancelotti’s men gave a big account of themselves.
The win has also proven that if they lift the Championelle, it will be a hard earned one for a side that was last crowned Ligue 1 champions in 1994.
While talking to Le Parisien, Nene expressed his delight at seeing the rest of his teammates perform so well.
“We walked on the water in the front. All four attacking players scored, it’s good,” dropped a happy Nene who has been the most consistent player for PSG this season.
Guillaume Hoarau has now scored four goals in three games and the striker has shown why he can be an integral part for PSG for the remainder of the campaign at least.
“It take a lot of fun to play together. We wasted a lot of chances but made a few too so it’s all good. With two strikers, we are more balanced. In this way, there is a lot of defensive discipline,” said Hoarau.
Montpellier drew their game against Dijon FCO which means that PSG now have a narrow lead at the top. However, the recent performance against Ajaccio shows that PSG could be the side to watch out for in the coming weeks.
Though the gap is narrow, one can argue that the Parisians do have a lot of flair in their attack and depth in their squad to go all the way. With the presence of Carlo Ancelotti at the dugout, PSG have enough experience to lift a title that will be a well-earned
one if PSG manage to lift it.
