PSP Custom Firmware 3.90 m33 help! URGENT !?

Question

I have a PSP phat running 3.90 m33. But im a complete noob at psp hacks and such. I just need help with the following things:

What's the 1.50 kernel? What does it do? Should I get it?

And, what is the diffrence between 3.90 m33 and 3.90 m33-2?

Should I switch to m33-2?

Right now, I only play ISOs and CSOs on my psp. But I really want to try homebrew games. All of the games are for FW 1.5.

Is there any way to play 1.5 games on my 3.90 m33?

The kernel is an update. The 3.90 m33-2 means it cfw 3.90 m33 with update 2.  You can update it to 4.01 m33-2. Here is a link of custom and orginal firmware.

some hacks use the 1.50 kernal so get it if you want it and m33-2 is an update so i would suggest getting it and there is a m33-3 and I have 4.01 m33-2
