PSP Pandora's Battery?

I want to have a Gameboy Advance Emulator on my PSP. My PSP (Fat) has firmware 4.05. However, i heard that u need custom firmware in order for it to work. I bought a Pandora's Battery online, but do i also need that magic memory stick? Also once i get the Pandoras Battery, what do i do with it?

If you choose to go and buy one form the frist link you will get custom firmare 4.01 m33 and it will come with a emulator for gameboy and sega. That's the one I bought.
